This piece is called "flower motango". This took Takashi a year and a half to complete. I chose this piece because this represents a person. This sculpture is outlined as a person with a big belly. The flowers that make up the person have smiles on them and express happiness. Coming from those happy flowers and more flowers growing. To me, this represents that a person can grow as a human being by being optimistic. Takashi is a very happy person, many of his pictures show him being happy. This piece may represent his happiness and him as a person. I like this piece a lot. This piece means to me that no matter what, you can always grow and be happy.
