This piece is called "Bleeding Takari II". El Anatsui made this piece in 2007. This piece is made from liquor bottle caps. I chose this piece because the gold/silver shimmer bottle caps make this piece look pure and wealthy. But then there are red blood stains dripping down, which ruined the elegancy of this piece. Without the blood dripping down, this elegant piece looks like it would cost a lot of money, but the story behind it is that it is made from bottle caps. You can get them off of the side of the road. I like how Anatsui made the blood drip down and onto the floor, with all of the same material.
