I chose to write about the famous Louise Bourgeois sculpture the Maman. Maman is a huge spider made of bronze, stainless steal and also marble. the title Maman means mother in french. Which is accurate because the sculpture contains eggs that are made of marbles. She dedicated this sculpture to her mother because she saw many similarities between her mother and the spider. This frighteningly eye catching sculpture is located in the United kingdom and was created in 1999.
